Position Overview:

As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our classified computing environments. This position is dedicated to ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards, focusing on hands-on execution and management of security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee compliance for designated information systems, including technical configuration assessments, change management, and incident response.
  • Maintain and update the System Security Plan in accordance with established procedures.
  • Ensure all personnel possess the necessary security clearances and provide training on security policies.
  • Monitor and analyze security event logs and reports, documenting any irregularities in line with the System Security Plan.
  • Manage the accountability and safeguarding of materials related to secure systems.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of system functions and security measures to provide informed recommendations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a year.
  • DoD 8570-compliant certification at IAM Level I (e.g., Security+) or the ability to obtain it within six months.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications such as Security+, A+, Network+, CAP, CASP+, Cisco (CCNA), CISSP.
  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-series and security compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with system hardening tools and vulnerability assessments.
  • Willingness to embrace new technologies and projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong self-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capability to maintain composure under pressure.
