Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Manager to join our team at Yarco Companies Inc. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential properties, ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Develop and implement effective leasing strategies to meet or exceed budgeted occupancy and rental rate goals, while controlling expenses and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of payroll and revenue.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and motivate on-site employees, promoting a positive and productive work environment, and ensuring high employee job satisfaction.
  • Property Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the property is well-maintained, clean, and secure, and implement preventative maintenance schedules to prevent costly repairs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional resident service, responding promptly to resident concerns and issues, and ensuring that a responsible person is available for building emergencies at all times.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the Regional Property Manager, Operations and Support Manager, and other stakeholders, ensuring that issues or concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or Business preferred.
  • Experience: Three to five years of affordable housing residential management or related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Physical and Cognitive Abilities: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds, and possess the physical and cognitive abilities to perform the duties of the position.

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, employees, and stakeholders, and build strong relationships to drive business growth.
  • Financial Management Skills: Ability to develop and implement effective financial management strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead and manage a team of on-site employees, promoting a positive and productive work environment, and ensuring high employee job satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement effective solutions to drive business growth.
