Position Overview

CPH is a renowned multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architectural design firm recognized among the nation's Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine.

We are currently seeking a dedicated CAD Technician/Designer to join our team, focusing on local and national land development initiatives. This role encompasses participation in various stages of the design process, including the creation of presentations, concept formulation, preparation of construction documents, and oversight during construction phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop precise presentation, design, and construction documents utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Engage in collaboration and coordination with the project team, which includes engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
  • Analyze and interpret relevant codes and client specifications.
  • Apply and adhere to established CAD standards and templates.
  • Compile data and calculate quantities, areas, and other metrics essential for land development civil engineering plan design.
  • Conduct site investigations, measurements, and construction observations, including the preparation of related reports and exhibits.
  • Assist in assembling construction plans across various disciplines and submitting them to the appropriate regulatory agencies.
  • Perform general office and administrative duties, including couriering, scanning, copying, document preparation, and filing.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Civil 3D and Adobe Suite is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, and Industrial projects is beneficial.
  • Ability to adapt and respond positively to guidance from others.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility in work hours to meet project deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, quality-focused, reliable, and self-driven.
