About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD/BIM Designer to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a CAD/BIM Designer, you will play a critical role in creating and managing construction drawings, working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and manage construction drawings for civil infrastructure and process piping projects
  • Prepare dimensional drawings, create and/or modify base drawings
  • Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes
  • Create and manage electronic document file structure, naming conventions in accordance with company standards
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion
  • Follow CAD standards, whether the customer's or Tetra Tech's
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver drawings that meet and exceed customer requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree in CAD drafting or a related field, plus at least two years of related work experience
  • Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D for civil drawings or Autodesk Revit for process piping drawings
  • Knowledge of client standards and ability to follow them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member
