The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Systems Analyst to join our team at Partners HealthCare. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our information technology infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT teams to design, implement, and maintain systems that support our clinical and research operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the build, mapping, and testing of laboratory systems to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Provide direct user support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
  • Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our clinical and research operations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to plan and implement infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of clinical application and/or health professional experience, preferably in a laboratory setting.
  • Familiarity with laboratory operations and LIS experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with various software systems and a strong understanding of high-performance computing and networking.
  • Required proficiency in server/virtual machine management and operating systems, specifically Linux and Windows.
  • Strong administrative, analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional local travel to Partners HealthCare sites, vendors, and/or conferences. The work environment is a normal office setting with occasional exposure to diseases or infections, requiring safety gear such as gloves and mask. The noise level is quiet to moderate, and the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
