We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Directions for Living. This role is part of our First Five program, which aims to provide trauma-informed care to children and families in early learning centers.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience working with at-risk populations. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is also required.

In this role, you will work closely with teachers to create a trauma-informed culture in their classrooms. You will identify children who need behavioral support and provide services through two pathways, depending on the level of complexity and risk of expulsion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide trauma-informed care to children and families in early learning centers
  • Work with teachers to create a trauma-informed culture in their classrooms
  • Identify children who need behavioral support and provide services
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for children and families
