Job Overview

Lincare Holdings is seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team. As an Occupational Health specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees.

About the Job

This position involves performing pre-employment physical reviews and processing required documents in a timely and professional manner. You will work closely with clinicians to assess physicals and provide recommendations on hiring new employees. Additionally, you will maintain relationships with occupational health clinics throughout the US and facilitate the use of clinical portals when available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical assessments and provide clear recommendations on employee suitability for various roles.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee physicals and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to streamline the hiring process and improve overall efficiency.
  • Provide support to management regarding work-related injuries and serve as a backup to other nurses as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong background as an LPN with clinical experience (at least 2 years).
  • Advanced knowledge in industrial health standards and excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with injured workers, supervisors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to instill confidence and trust with employees.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is around $70,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards. This figure may vary depending on location and individual qualifications.
