Job Description

At ADM, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Elevator Lead. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our elevator facility, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of grain and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload trucks or railcars, ensuring accurate and timely processing of materials.
  • Operate a grain dryer, maintaining optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct grain handling operations, adhering to strict safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Operate wheel loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and similar equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and upkeep.
  • Utilize computerized systems to process data, track inventory, and monitor facility operations.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning equipment and facilities.
  • Assist operations personnel and supervisors as needed, providing support and guidance to ensure seamless facility operations.
  • Perform facility maintenance tasks, ensuring the overall integrity and safety of the facility.
  • Travel to neighboring facilities as needed, providing support and assistance to ensure continuity of operations.
Requirements:
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture, with a strong understanding of company safety procedures.
  • High school education or equivalent, with a preference for previous experience in maintenance-related disciplines.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, and lifting up to 55 pounds unassisted.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed, with a flexible attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Professional image and positive attitude, with a strong commitment to maintaining a respectful and safe work environment.
