About the Role

As the Manager of Maintenance, you will oversee maintenance and repairs for Kohl's property. You will prioritize and execute projects to reduce equipment downtime, ensure cost efficiency, and meet Kohl's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enforce safety protocols and procedures
  • Partner with third-party vendors to procure maintenance-related contracts for capital equipment and supplies
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate staff on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Conduct failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) and report findings
  • Prepare and analyze maintenance schedules and provide recommendations
  • Lead direct reports to achieve unit goals under Kohl's policies and practices
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision to increase associate engagement
  • Maintain open communication by setting clear objectives and removing barriers
  • Develop an effective staff through coaching and performance feedback

Requirements

Required

  • Prior management experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) techniques
  • Practical knowledge of automated distribution and warehouse systems
  • Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent
  • Flexibility in hours to support multi-shift operations
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Windows systems

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree (or advanced degree)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of EAM systems
  • Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) and/or Condition Based Monitoring
