About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team at Middough Inc. As an engineer with this role, you will work on multiple projects, design complete I&C solutions, prepare project documentation, coordinate tasks with engineers and administrative staff, lead field work, perform calculation checks, and serve as discipline lead on single and multi-discipline projects.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Work on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects
  • Design complete I&C solutions based on project scope definition
  • Prepare project documentation, including bills of material, calculations, data sheets, detailed drawings, specifications, technical reports, and test plans
  • Coordinate tasks with engineers, designers, and administrative staff
  • Lead field work by evaluating installations and performing problem-solving activities
  • Serve as discipline lead on single and multi-discipline projects, estimating work hours, developing scope of work, making staffing recommendations, and checking drawings
  • Manage the scope of the project work, address scope and work changes, adjust the project deliverables as necessary, and complete the project work based on the budget and scheduled time frame

Qualifications and Salary

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in performing engineering analysis and design for instrumentation and controls systems
  • Strong background in control system architecture, interface solutions, and configuration of switches, servers, and operator workstations
  • Experience specifying field instrumentation and process analyzers, estimating engineering project costs, and knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation, Databases, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office products

Benefits and Work Environment

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 based on industry standards and location.
