Job Overview:
This role involves supporting and teaching individuals with disabilities to become more independent in the community. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop personalized plans, assist with daily living tasks, and encourage socialization and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Encourage participation in activities, hobbies, and volunteering
- Help individuals manage medications and maintain a safe living environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Medication Assistance Certification preferred
- Experience working with intellectually disabled adults required
