Avalon Health Care Group is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Avalon Care Center Northpointe in Spokane. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents who require psychiatric and behavioral health services.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to work as a Patient Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, including cleaning and organizing resident rooms and common areas.
- Document resident information and maintain accurate records.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience in patient care or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods required.
- $20.00 per hour salary.
