About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International plc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive service calls from our Service Resource Center and diagnose equipment/system malfunctions
  • Contact customers to ascertain equipment/system problems and provide solutions
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps
  • Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals and documentation to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and operational manuals
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills and communicate effectively with customers and district staff
  • Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements and obtain customer signatures
  • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational manuals
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform physical labor
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test
  • NICET Level II desired
