Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of our 24-hour departments, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Establish and maintain patient care and service standards to meet member and internal client expectations.
- Design and evaluate processes to improve systems and patient care results across the continuum of care.
- Develop and monitor budgets for the appropriate use of human and material resources.
- Recruit, train, and maintain the competency of department staff, ensuring ongoing staff development.
- Develop, implement, and monitor departmental policy and procedures that support our organization's goals and business objectives.
- Minimum four (4) years of clinical nursing experience related to the clinical area of specialization, including four (4) years of management, supervisory, or leadership experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Two (2) years of management experience.
- One (1) year of Magnet/shared governance experience.
- One (1) year of managing in a bargaining environment.
- Masters degree.
