Job Summary:

You will supervise a team of approximately 20-60 employees, managing staffing, payroll, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives. Your expertise in clinical care delivery, staffing, and budgeting will drive patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve staff development and patient care.
  • Monitor the allocation and utilization of personnel, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Supervise daily unit operations, including human resources management, employee safety programs, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient care across the continuum.
  • Investigate and resolve patient/family member concerns regarding patient care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience, with at least two years of experience as a charge nurse, preceptor, or quality improvement champion.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a high school diploma or GED required.
  • Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire, with Basic Life Support certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ACLS certification, with Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.
