Job Title: Environmental Finance Access to Capital Director

U.S. Bank is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Finance Access to Capital Director to join our team. As a key member of our Business Impact Group, you will play a critical role in driving our commitment to close the racial wealth gap through our Access Commitment Initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Environmental Finance and Syndications teams to research and compile a database on investors and lenders who invest in BIPOC-led customers.
  • Identify prospective and current customers who may benefit from introductions to these mission-aligned investors/lenders.
  • Develop and implement programs to address identified market gaps, including educational programs at higher learning institutions serving marginalized communities and climate finance workforce development programs.
  • Provide environmental finance EAC metrics needed to reflect performance towards Impact Finance financial goals and enterprise initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities.
  • Two or more years of managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of complex renewable energy financing structures and familiarity with Federal and local financing sources.
  • Commitment to community development and racial equity.
