Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher, you will:

  • Assist in implementing our curriculum, working closely with the lead teacher and director to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Provide individualized attention and support to children, helping them to develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
  • Communicate effectively with families, keeping them informed about their child's daily progress and activities.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional growth activities to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.
  • Use good judgment to handle crisis situations and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current certification in First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain.
  • Meet state education criteria to work as a lead teacher in Wisconsin (per DCF 251: Group Child Care Centers).
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome applicants with:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • State Licensed Teacher Certification.
  • Registry Level of 6 or Higher.
