Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Administration of Justice courses at College of the Canyons. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the field and the ability to create a dynamic learning environment that values instructor/student interaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Administration of Justice courses, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of diverse students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide activities, including committee work and professional development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of full-time equivalent professional experience in Administration of Justice or a related field
  • OR - Associate degree and six years of professional experience in Administration of Justice or a related field
  • OR - Possession of an unexpired California Community College Instructor Credential in Administration of Justice
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching Administration of Justice courses
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment
  • Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
