Zachary Piper Solutions is in search of a Cloud Solutions Engineer to contribute to a vital cloud initiative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative technical solutions by developing and testing components that support cloud architecture and applications.

Clearance Required: Secret

Work Location: Remote with occasional on-site requirements

Work Schedule: Standard hours (8 AM - 4 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose software issues and implement enhancements based on feedback.
  • Lead project teams and engage in development tasks.
  • Design and implement enterprise cloud architecture solutions, adhering to established strategies and standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business owners and technical teams, to set and communicate application and data architecture standards.
  • Create high-quality architectural designs that align with organizational goals and comply with enterprise standards.
  • Assess user requirements and develop software solutions accordingly. Modify existing applications to improve functionality and performance.
  • Oversee the design and execution of advanced data collection frameworks.
  • Maintain scalable data pipelines and storage solutions, optimizing for performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop complex data models and algorithms to facilitate analytics and machine learning initiatives.
  • Continuously explore and integrate new technologies within the cloud platform to enhance data capabilities.
  • Establish and implement effective API management and data orchestration strategies to improve system integration.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform; experience with AWS or Azure is acceptable.
  • Background in data engineering, including ETL processes and data warehousing.
  • Experience in application development and modifications.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing APIs.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $150,000 - $170,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
