POSITION SUMMARY: Patricio Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Cloud Architect III at Ft Belvoir, VA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, construct, test, and deploy cloud service solutions for both new and existing cloud frameworks.
  • Create architectural documentation including technical and business architecture, strategic planning, and process design.
  • Engage in comprehensive enterprise architecture assessments, evaluations, designs, integrations, documentation, and development.
  • Utilize advanced business and technical principles to tackle complex technical challenges and develop innovative engineering solutions.
  • Expertly transition systems to a cloud architecture from various platforms while employing a diverse array of tools for system implementation and re-implementation, including:
    • Providing cloud architectural guidance to management and technical teams.
    • Producing cloud architectural deliverables for enterprise and operational divisions.
    • Formulating cloud system strategies and infrastructure designs to align with business objectives.
    • Consulting on the selection of cloud technologies concerning processing, data storage, data access, and application needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in migrating systems to cloud architectures from diverse platforms, utilizing a broad range of tools for implementation.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience collaborating with Cloud Service Providers.
  • Familiarity with elastic cloud computing is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This role involves sedentary work requiring the following physical activities: reaching, lifting, fine motor skills, and effective communication. Occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs.

Employees must possess the ability to see, hear, read, and write effectively in English. Essential skills include adaptability, analytical thinking, decision-making, dependability, and effective communication. Candidates should be capable of following oral and written instructions and applying common sense in job performance.
