About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Elevance Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Medications and Treatments: Safely and effectively administer medications and treatments to patients, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify potential health risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Communicate with Patients and Families: Effectively communicate with patients and their families to educate them on treatment plans, medications, and other important health information.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in an infusion setting.
  • Licensure: Current unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s).
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IV Experience: 2+ years of experience with IV therapy.
  • Port, PICC & Peripheral Line Experience: Experience with port, PICC, and peripheral line placement and management.
  • Medication Mixing Experience: Experience with medication mixing and preparation.
  • Titration Experience: Experience with titration and dose adjustments.
