As a key member of the Environmental Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Conduct regular hazard vulnerability assessments and risk analyses to identify potential threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership to create, develop, and implement disaster plans that align with state and federal regulations.
  • Manage the activation of emergency operations plans and hospital command centers as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community response partners, including emergency medical services, public health, fire, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Participate in community and statewide exercises to test emergency plans and ensure compliance with accrediting agencies.
  • Represent the organization on various preparedness committees, including the regional healthcare coalition.
