We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to oversee multi-disciplinary design initiatives on a full-time basis. This role will involve leading various public and private site development projects and collaborating with municipal clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple projects and tasks, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets for successful project completion. Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss project progress and requirements. Develop proposals for both new and existing clients, including cost estimations. Supervise the creation of Land Development Plans, including engineering design drawings, technical specifications, and comprehensive engineering reports from initial design through to construction. Coordinate with regulatory agencies to secure permits for large-scale, complex projects. Assign tasks to Junior Engineers and Drafters, providing mentorship in areas such as Stormwater Management, Utility Coordination, and Erosion & Sediment Control Design. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in engineering, particularly in Land Development design. Professional Engineer (PE) license in NJ, or the ability to obtain it within six months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications such as Certified Municipal Engineer (CME), Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), or Professional Planner (PP) are advantageous. Experience in management or project management, with a proven track record of handling multi-disciplinary projects. Advanced skills in site design functions, including site layout, grading, utility design, stormwater management, and regulatory approvals. Familiarity with stormwater management practices and proficiency in Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H) modeling tools. Competence in engineering software, including CADD and project management tools; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus. Proficiency in standard office software applications, including Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat; experience with Bluebeam Revu is a plus. Ability to maintain a holistic view of project goals while coordinating various design disciplines. Strong attendance record and punctuality. Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and solve complex problems across various projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
