Physical Therapist Role in Women's Health and Pelvic Floor Therapy

Job SummaryAs a Physical Therapist at Origin, you will lead patient care and support clinic success by synthesizing patient information, diagnosing movement dysfunction, and developing individualized plans of care.
You will utilize evidence-based interventions, evaluate patient progress, and educate patients about recovery processes.
A key part of your role will be connecting with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of therapies provided by the clinic.
Responsibilities- Synthesize pertinent patient information from referrals, medical records, imaging, intake forms, and subjective history taking.
- Diagnose movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture, and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, objective measurements, and listening to patient concerns and goals.
- Develop individualized plans of care for patients, including their goals and expected outcomes.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, biofeedback, and other modalities to achieve patient goals.
- Evaluate and document patient progress, utilizing outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed.
- Educate patients about what to expect from the recovery process and how to cope with challenges throughout the process.
- Follow up with patients to ensure better adherence to the plan of care.
- Connect with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of therapies provided by the clinic and ensure that as many patients as possible who need care can receive it.
- Clinical instruction of at least one student rotation per year after the first year of treatment in your specialty area.

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $140,000 per year, plus monthly bonus opportunities.
Requirements- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas (recent grads welcome to apply).
- Interest in women's health and pelvic floor physical therapy.
We also value experience in pelvic floor physical therapy and certification, but it is not required.
