Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists.
This is a full-time opportunity to work in an outpatient setting, providing exceptional care to patients and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding care in an outpatient setting, working collaboratively with our experienced team of physical therapists and support staff.
- Assist in the evaluation of clients' daily living skills and capacities, determining the extent of their abilities and limitations.
- Support patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment, including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic programs.
- Observe patients during treatments and report observations to the Physical Therapist, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with staff and other health team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.
- An Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required.
- Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant licensure to practice is mandatory.
Our Physical Therapy Assistants average less than 12 patients per day, allowing for a balanced workload and opportunities for professional growth.

Educational RequirementsA minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required for this position.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary range for this position is $32-34 per hour, based on location and experience.
