Additional Information:
We offer tuition reimbursement for ASE Certifications, no Sunday shifts, state-of-the-art equipment with regular software updates, and well-equipped shops that serve both members and non-members with a consistent flow of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Automotive Glass Specialist, you will:
- Perform mobile and fixed-site removal and installation of automotive glass, as well as glass repairs.
- Utilize hand and power tools to carefully remove moldings, wipers, mirrors, windshields, door glass, and back glass, minimizing potential vehicle damage.
- Complete glass repair and replacement according to industry and AAA specifications.
- Review daily auto glass job itineraries to ensure replacement glass is in good condition and that all necessary parts are available.
- Communicate effectively with Auto Glass Supervisors, Customer Service Representatives, and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies.
- Provide outstanding member and customer satisfaction while representing AAA in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety and compliance standards.
- Report accidents and injuries immediately and communicate unsafe situations to prevent further incidents.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of three years of experience as an Automotive Glass Technician.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- National Glass Association (NGA) certification is preferred.
- The ability to obtain NGA certification within 60 days of employment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
Physical Requirements:
You should be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds, sit or stand for extended periods, and perform physical activities such as walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. You must also be able to work in various weather conditions and may need to drive up to 300 miles per day.
