Position Summary:

The Cardiovascular Service Line Administrator will be responsible for directing and managing the strategic development, operational oversight, and performance evaluation of the cardiovascular service line. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategic initiatives to promote the objectives of the cardiovascular service line in accordance with the organization's mission.

  • Prepare and oversee financial plans for the cardiovascular service line, tracking expenditures and revenue to maintain fiscal health and growth.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and resource efficiency while upholding superior care standards.
  • Establish and uphold quality assurance protocols, ensuring compliance with best practices, regulatory guidelines, and accreditation standards.
  • Lead initiatives to meet and maintain quality benchmarks, focusing on patient safety, clinical results, and satisfaction ratings.
  • Conduct routine evaluations, risk analyses, and performance assessments to pinpoint areas needing enhancement and to mitigate risks.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including medical staff, patients, and community partners.
  • Act as a representative for the cardiovascular service line in cross-departmental interactions, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
  • Engage in professional events, conferences, and industry gatherings to elevate the organization's profile and cultivate strategic alliances.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in heart and vascular services.
  • Experience in business development is advantageous.
