Job Description

At ALLRED Heating, Cooling, Air Quality, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting. Your expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax laws will be essential in ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including recording financial transactions, tracking expenses, and categorizing income and expenditures.
  • Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts to help the company plan for the future and make informed financial decisions.
  • Calculate, prepare, and file various tax returns for the company, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management, identifying trends, evaluating investment opportunities, and assessing the financial impact of various business decisions.
  • Assess and manage financial risks, including currency exchange rate fluctuations, market volatility, and credit risks.
  • Communicate financial information to various stakeholders, including management, shareholders, auditors, and government agencies.
  • Ensure financial practices align with ethical guidelines and standards.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an Accountant.
  • HVAC industry experience is a plus.
  • CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, CIA certification, or Bar License is required.
  • An educational degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Service Titan experience is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervising and training experience.
  • Proficient in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficient in accounting software and financial systems, such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or other industry-specific software.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze options, and recommend a course of action to the supervisor.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and drive to meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must enjoy a dynamic environment, remain flexible, and handle changing priorities over multiple priorities, tasks, and situations.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple tasks successfully.
  • A willingness to stay updated with industry trends, accounting regulations, and new technologies.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
