The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Pantry Attendant to join our team at one of our onsite business dining spaces. As a Pantry Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Food and Beverage Replenishment: Anticipate and address the needs of our clients and teams, focusing on food and beverage replenishment, safety, and high-end product quality.
- Pantry Management: Set up, stock, maintain, and safely receive Savory commissary and pantry orders, ensuring a tidy and clean storage room.
- Inventory Management: Track product inventory on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate records and minimizing waste.
- Support to Hospitality and Culinary Teams: Assist the hospitality and culinary teams during downtime, proactively completing side work and maintaining a smooth workflow.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or pantry services, with a proven ability to anticipate needs and multitask.
- Knowledge and Certifications: Knowledge of Department of Health food safety best practices and a DOH Food Handler's certificate (preferred).
- Physical Demands: Capability to maintain a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions, and ability to repeatedly lift up to 25lbs.
