Job Overview

The Logistics Support Specialist will engage in both skilled and unskilled tasks within the warehouse and at various job sites as required. Assignments may include work in the warehouse, drape, shop, or carpet depot, along with related responsibilities across these sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment
  • Construct booths and trade show displays; cut and prepare carpet
  • Maintain, repair, and organize inventory
  • Set up booths and carpets at designated locations
  • Adhere to Shepard policies, procedures, and industry best practices
  • Ensure tools and equipment are kept in optimal condition
  • Uphold a clean and safe working environment while following safety protocols
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or shop operations
  • Proficient in operating power tools and equipment, including forklifts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; basic math skills are essential
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
