MISSION OF THE POSITION
The primary role of the Financial Accountant is to manage the integrity of the general ledger and oversee all related accounting transactions and reporting applications. This position is crucial for delivering timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reports and analyses, while also maintaining robust internal controls to protect the assets of One World Global Services and ensure the integrity of financial data.

MAIN CHALLENGES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate the account reconciliation process and gather essential financial information.
- Document financial transactions by accurately entering account data.
- Process tax obligations and returns efficiently.
- Review bank statements and reconcile them with entries in the general ledger.
- Coordinate with the compensation and personnel department regarding payroll cycles and employee loan deductions.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and obligations.
- Prepare and present financial statements along with necessary notes at agreed intervals, tailored to client needs.
- Maintain up-to-date accounting records with all supporting documentation.
- Uphold the company's values throughout all processes.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Understanding of tax, commercial, and labor laws, as well as IFRS for SMEs.
  • Knowledge of the accounting cycle and closing processes.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
