Job Summary

As an Operating Room Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment in the operating rooms, ensuring a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
  • Perform terminal cleaning of patient care spaces, endoscopy suites, and other areas as needed.
  • Provide daily cleaning and maintenance of lounge, locker, bathroom, and other areas.
  • Transport lab supplies, equipment, and other materials as required.
  • Assist clinical staff with tasks and procedures, including opening sterile supplies and instruments.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and follow established procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain stock and cleanliness of personal protective equipment (PPE) and surgical attire.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification within 6 months of hire.
