Position Overview

The Food Service Cashier is responsible for operating the cash register and processing customer payments. This role involves preparing and serving food and beverage items to patrons, ensuring that all offerings meet quality standards. Consistent attendance is crucial for this position.

This role offers an hourly wage of $14.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales transactions accurately by entering orders and completing payments.
  • Maintain inventory levels and communicate with the Concession Stand Manager regarding low stock items.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of utensils.
  • Serve beverages, including alcoholic options, responsibly, verifying guest age as per regulations.
  • Adhere to sanitation, health, and safety standards in the work environment.
  • Assist in various areas as required.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors or management team members.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Preferred experience of three months or more in the food service sector.
  • Prior cash handling experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to learn cash handling procedures and operate a cash register system.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and positive demeanor towards colleagues, supervisors, and customers.
