Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing fluoroscopic procedures, positioning patients, and operating radiologic machines to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform fluoroscopic procedures for patients of all age groups, adhering to professional radiology practice standards.
- Position patients for radiologic examinations, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
- Operate radiologic machines, taking x-ray images of various body parts for diagnosis and treatment.
- Develop, make copies, and fix x-ray films for use in medical diagnosis.
- Assist in fluoroscopic work, making clinical photographs of unusual cases, and maintaining equipment and quarters.
- Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the Florida State Department of Health Services.
- Two years of experience in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist.
- Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work individually or as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
