Job Summary

  • Property Transactions: Assist with property acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions. Ensure that all legal aspects are properly addressed to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance activities, including board meetings, compliance reporting, and other legal corporate matters.
  • Risk Management: Identify legal risks associated with real estate transactions and provide strategies for mitigating such risks.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of company policies related to real estate operations, compliance, and risk management.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the real estate, finance, and operations teams, to provide legal guidance and support.
Requirements
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant legal experience in real estate law; conveyancing, financing, easement, environmental and zoning experience or supervising outside counsel experience preferred
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
