Procurement Analyst Job Description

Winland Foods, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for supporting the pasta and milling operations by coordinating procurement workflow in SAP and Agris, managing procurement master data in ERP systems, and providing system/training support for SAP/Agris locations and Purchase Order approval workflow within SAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as Purchasing lead for master data creation and maintenance in SAP, Agris, and LX, ensuring data freshness and accuracy.
  • Maintain supplier, pricing, and material master data in ERP systems (SAP, Agris, and LX).
  • Partner with logistics and milling operations for weekly byproduct ship orders/mill receipt invoicing.
  • Work with Procurement Finance on month-end processes/reporting, including reconciliation.
  • Lead data collection from internal buyers and external suppliers to support PLM/PDM process for new product launch, innovation, and ongoing maintenance in procurement operations.
  • Manage changes and updates to SAP Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order workflow approvals.
  • Provide assistance to Procurement Category Managers on various sourcing projects as needed.
  • Assist and lead other special projects, ad hoc reporting requests, and team backup as needed.
Requirements:
  • Five plus years of experience in data management, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Systems and Tools experience - SAP, Agris, LX preferred: proficiency in managing and making recommendations for efficiencies with systems and tools, such as SAP and supporting applications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment.
  • Self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-functional Dependencies: experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
  • Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, and basic knowledge of general business concepts.
