What You'll Do:

  • Lead a teaching team to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state and national standards, incorporating best practices in early childhood education.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive approach to child care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in early childhood education, applying this knowledge to improve teaching methods and child outcomes.


Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CDA or higher level of education required.
  • At least six months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) required.
