Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical duties under the supervision of a physician, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and laboratory specimen collection.
  • Assist with examinations, including blood draws, lab specimens, injections, and electrocardiograms.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Perform quality control measures on medical testing equipment and maintain proper inventory of medical supplies.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or Clinical Medical Assistant.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or two years of experience working in the medical field as a medical assistant.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
