About the Role:

We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Lead MultiCraft Maintenance Technician to enhance our team in the Engineering sector. In this role, you will be tasked with the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of sophisticated machinery and equipment. Your expertise in electrical, mechanical, metal fabrication, and PLC will be invaluable as you tackle a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on all industrial machinery and equipment to ensure peak performance and reduce downtime.
  • Identify and resolve complex issues related to electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
  • Fabricate and modify metal components as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to drive operational enhancements and new installations.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to uphold a safe and organized work environment.
  • Guide and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.


Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within the Engineering field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in electrical, mechanical, metal fabrication, and PLC.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High physical fitness level, able to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Self-driven with a strong work ethic and dedication to quality.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Completion of a relevant trade certification or diploma is preferred.
