Position Overview

Salary: Starting at $24.50/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Your journey with Williams begins in our warehouse for a duration of up to 3 months, followed by an additional 3 months in our prefabrication facility. This structured onboarding and training experience is designed to equip you for a fulfilling career in the field, where you will play a vital role in our innovative new construction plumbing projects. Our program aims to develop your skills and knowledge in plumbing while fostering your growth in the trade.

Warehouse Duties (Stage 1: up to 3 months):

  • Assist in receiving and unloading deliveries, verifying merchandise, and matching purchase orders with sales orders.
  • Organize materials on shelves or in bins according to specified criteria such as size, type, or product code.
  • Maintain an accessible, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Gain insights into plumbing materials, tools, and safety protocols.

Prefabrication Responsibilities (Stage 2: up to 3 months):

  • Work collaboratively with our skilled team to assemble prefabricated plumbing components.
  • Assist in cutting, fitting, and welding pipes to develop customized plumbing solutions.
  • Acquire essential skills in blueprint interpretation and plumbing system design.
  • Focus on quality assurance and compliance with plumbing standards.

Field Work (Post-Completion of Stages 1 & 2):

  • Collaborate with experienced plumbers on new construction plumbing assignments.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and keep the job site clean and organized.
  • Continuously enhance your plumbing skills under the mentorship of seasoned professionals.

Apprenticeship Opportunity:

  • The Williams Apprenticeship Program offers dedicated laborers a pathway to transition into skilled and licensed plumbers.
