Job Title: Delivery Operator

Estimated Salary: $25-$35 per hour

The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory seeks a skilled Delivery Operator to transport ringers and kettles to their designated locations. This seasonal position requires excellent driving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for meeting with paid Kettle Bell ringers at The Salvation Army each morning to transport bell ringers and kettles to their designated location. You will also keep inventory of kettles and switch out kettles as needed during the day, pick up kettles in the evenings, and keep track of all paid bell ringer shifts and hours by indicating start and stop times on kettle slips. Additionally, you will transport ringers and kettles to their designated location and perform spot checks on bell ringer locations at times other than beginning and end of shifts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have a High School Diploma or GED and one to two years of experience in a related field, preferably. You should also have a valid State Driver's License and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Physical Requirements include the ability to meet attendance requirements, sit for extended periods, and lift equipment weighing less than 40 pounds occasionally.
