**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced CDL driver with boom crane operations skills to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 6 months of CDL experience, with basic experience on flat beds and/or tractor trailers required. For interstate commerce, 1 year of CDL experience is necessary.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Operate a truck with a capacity of more than three tons, primarily delivering wall panels and/or trusses requiring oversized load permits
- Inspect and maintain the truck, reporting shortages and claims to supervisors, and assist in loading and storing materials
- Participate in a positive work environment, maintaining a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License as required
- Prepare DOT required log of time on duty and driving, organize and secure loads, and assist forklift operators when loading
- Check orders for accuracy, deliver and unload materials to customer satisfaction, complete daily equipment pre-inspection, and record all merchandise returned by truck
- Follow guidelines established by the Department of Transportation, provide excellent customer service, relay messages sent by customers while on job, and assist supervisors and other employees as assigned

**Requirements:**

- Minimum education: High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED)
- 6 months CDL experience, with basic CDL experience on flat beds and/or tractor trailers required
- 1 year CDL experience required for interstate commerce
- Active accredited certification for equipment type (e.g., NCCCO, NCCER, CIC prior to Dec 2, 2019)
