Compassionate Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant

Position Overview

As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be integral in offering compassionate assistance to individuals in need, allowing them to receive care in their own environment.
Key Responsibilities:
In your role as a Hospice CNA, you will:
- Deliver personalized health care and support services, maintaining a safe and clean atmosphere for patients.
- Collaborate closely with patients and their families, providing emotional support and sharing critical observations with your supervisor to uphold the highest standards of care.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Service Area:
Focused on the East side of Detroit, including Gross Pointe, Harper Woods, and East Pointe.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant.
- Completion of a state-approved or equivalent Hospice Aide training program, meeting the requirements of 42 CFR §484.36 and a competency evaluation.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation for job-related tasks.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
