Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Huntington Park, California.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation therapy, with excellent communication and patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation therapy to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and safety protocols.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans and PET scans, to aid in disease diagnosis and treatment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures, participating in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License (CA and HI).
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Venipuncture certification (CA and HI).
