Job Summary

Sodexo is seeking a Patient Equipment Manager to join our team in the heart of Silicon Valley in Northern California. This role will be responsible for managing the maintenance and upkeep of patient equipment, ensuring that it is in good working condition and meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of patient equipment, including scheduling repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Ensure that all patient equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Work closely with the Infectious Control department to ensure that all patient equipment is properly maintained and meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the maintenance and upkeep of patient equipment, including training staff on proper use and maintenance.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of patient equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a management role.
  • Experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
