Our Company: Building Enclosure Science (BES) is a leading provider of building enclosure solutions. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Your Role: As a Building Enclosure Consultant, you will be responsible for managing engagements of varying size and complexity. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage engagements to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Implement high-quality building science services across projects.
  • Develop project plans, details, and specifications.
  • Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze and design roofing and cladding systems, waterproofing details, and testing plans for air, water, structural, thermal performance, and corrosion resistance of buildings.
  • Delegate assignments to other staff members as needed.
  • Prepare technical reports to completion, documenting observational findings, analyzing findings, and providing recommendations.
  • Pursue client contacts and opportunities, writing proposals and developing budgets for leadership review.
  • Attend industry events to promote BES and engage in professional development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of direct building enclosure experience.
  • Associates degree (or higher) in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, Building Sciences, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
  • Ability to write clear and concise communications for internal and external audiences.
  • Working knowledge of design codes and industry standards.
