Position Summary:

The role of the Cage Cashier involves managing monetary transactions for patrons at designated service windows. This position requires maintaining precise financial records while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate management of guest and company funds by executing all transactions and documentation in compliance with gaming regulations and company protocols.
  • Facilitate the exchange of gaming chips and tickets, process checks, and handle markers and fills.
  • Safeguard the casino cage assets and maintain the bank balance throughout the assigned shift.
  • Assist customers with credit application processes and uphold all customer credit documentation.
  • Issue window markers and manage safety deposit boxes for guests.
  • Input markers, fills, and credit slips into the computer system.
  • Address guest inquiries and provide information on current promotions.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure workstations are adequately stocked.
  • Stand for the majority of the shift while performing job duties.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Prior experience in money handling or cashiering is preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills and familiarity with currency are essential.
  • Ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counting machines.
  • Must be capable of bending, pushing, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 26 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in reading and speaking English.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required certifications and licenses as mandated by local gaming regulations.
