Job Summary

Nexus HR Services is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to lead our outpatient rehabilitation program in Yakima, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality patient care delivery through physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services.

About the Role:

The Clinical Director will oversee the overall operation of the clinic, including financial planning, budget preparation, and operations. You will provide leadership and professional growth opportunities for all staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement departmental goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies;
  • Lead and manage a team of therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional patient care;
  • Collaborate with corporate teams to develop and implement business development and outreach objectives;
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards;
  • Represent the department within the community, fostering relationships with local healthcare providers and organizations;
  • Supervise the hiring and training of new staff members, ensuring a smooth onboarding process;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve departmental performance;
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of the clinic.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology;
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington;
  • Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, with a minimum of two years of experience as a clinician;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients, and external partners;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Proficiency in a variety of computer programs, including electronic medical records and practice management systems;
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance guidelines, with the ability to ensure regulatory compliance.
