Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology / Cardiology/MRI Technologist to join our team at Diverse Lynx. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic MRI examinations, operating complex diagnostic equipment, and ensuring that routine and priority tasks are completed within established time frames.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic MRI examinations, including preparing patients for procedures and explaining the process in a clear and professional manner.
  • Operate complex diagnostic equipment, including MRI machines, and ensure that they are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Ensure that routine and priority tasks are completed within established time frames, including preparing and administering medications and contrast media.
  • Mentor and educate students and new technologists, and foster a constructive environment that helps them build confidence in their skills and knowledge.
  • Perform general clerical tasks, including answering phones, updating patient appointments, and retrieving and revising patient electronic health records.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist or ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT (MRI) - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists.
  • 5 years recent relevant experience.
Skills and Knowledge

General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment, including some experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies. Capable of performing routine MRI examinations as well as a basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.

Working Conditions

Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions. Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options. Ensure the privacy of each patient's protected health information (PHI). Build collaborates relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
