Sutter Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Competently perform MRI procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images.
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.
- May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or Magnetic Resonance Program.
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist or ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT (MRI) - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
- ARRT (MR) (CT) preferred.
- 5 years recent relevant experience.
